Google+ Collections

Google Plus has just released a new feature which allows users to organize any post they make or share into Collections.  The idea is to compile a Pinterest-style board full of digital material organized around a single topic while remaining steamlined with all of Google +'s easy posting styles.

One way I enjoy curating online content with Google + is to use the Chrome Webstore extension while browsing the web.  When I come across sites, apps, videos, images, audio, or other digital content I find useful or interesting, I quickly share them to Google Plus with 2 clicks via the G+ extension, and I make sure to designate that they be tagged with a unique hashtag that I can find and retrieve later.  Now I can do this process and save the post both to my public profile and to my specific Collection, making it much, much easier to find curated content later on:

Provided I have already created a Collection, I can click Google Plus share, search for the little Collections diamond, select that Collection, and click the green share button.

My content will be available in that Collection promptly. Check out mine!
