Seesaw app

Looking for an easy way to turn students' work and ideas into organized digital portfolios?  Try Seesaw, an app and web-based space where teachers and students can upload photos, digital drawings with recorded voiceovers and captions, pdf, typed notes, and links to YouTube and a host of other websites.

Students can join your class by downloading the app or visiting the website and then adding your class code.

Much like with Edmodo or Class Dojo, parents can also check in on their child's progress by signing into Seesaw with the code provided by the teacher.

Want to have students quickly record video of their work or of themselves discussing their learning? There are a few app-smashing possibilities.
  • Mobile Devices:  Record video with the Camera, then have the students click Upload File in Seesaw.
  • Computers / Chromebooks:  Use a webcam site (try YouTube's webcam feature or another site, like Webcamera.ioClipChamp, or FotoFriend). Once students record themselves, have them share the video (or upload it to YouTube).  Once they grab the share link, they can insert it into Seesaw as a link.
  •

Last point...teachers can check an overview of all uploads if they desire by using the calendar view!
